Nagar Kirtan — Sikh Heritage & Community

In Remembrance of Sikh Heritage

Raj Jog The Compassion has undertaken Nagar Kirtan initiatives as part of its efforts to encourage participation in Sikh religious and cultural traditions.

With the support of the Sangat, the organization arranged a specially prepared Palki Sahib bus for the Saroop of Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji during Nagar Kirtans.

A Journey to the Five Takht Sahibans

On the occasion of450 years of JANAM SHATABDI ( birth anniversary) of Sahib Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, Raj Jog organized a Nagar Kirtan named Samarpan March dedicated to the Five Takht Sahibans.

The initiative was held around 2013 free of cost and it provided an opportunity for participants to travel together, engage with Sikh heritage and strengthen their connection with the community.

The journey continued for approximately one month, allowing the Sangat to visit and pay obeisance at the historic Takht Sahibans.

Through such initiatives, Raj Jog seeks to bring the Sangat together in Gurbani, remembrance and Sewa, while keeping our connection with Sikh heritage alive for future generations.
