Rohi Kaar Sewa

Sewa for the Environment

Sewa is an important part of the work of Raj Jog The Compassion. With the belief that caring for our surroundings is also a responsibility towards the community, the organization undertook Kaar Sewa for the cleaning of Nala Kasoor (Rohi) in Tarn Taran.

At the time, the area had remained in need of cleaning, and no government department or other organization had come forward to undertake the work. Seeing this need, Raj Jog stepped forward and took up the cleaning of the Rohi as a large-scale Kaar Sewa.

With the support and participation of the Sangat, the sewa was carried out with the aim of improving the cleanliness and surroundings of the area. The effort focused on cleaning and improving an area that had become neglected and affected by accumulated waste. This initiative remains a part of Raj Jog’s history of attempting to address community and environmental concerns through collective service.

Sewa in Action

For Raj Jog, this initiative reflects the spirit of seeing a need and taking responsibility to serve.

It was an effort to turn concern into action through Sewa, Sangat and collective effort.

When there is a need, Sewa begins by stepping forward.
