The Ustat Gurmat Sangeet Academy is Rajjog’s ongoing initiative dedicated to preserving and sharing the tradition of Gurmat Sangeet. The academy provides free musical education to both boys and girls, helping students develop an understanding and appreciation of traditional Sikh musical traditions.
Students are taught traditional Ragas by experienced Ustaads, alongside instruments including Tabla and Tanti Saaz under teachers specialising in their respective fields. Through this initiative, Rajjog seeks to keep the tradition of Gurmat Sangeet alive while giving children an opportunity to learn and engage with it from an early age.
